Headed for Ledra Street

The Olympic Flame just about made it through London, despite Tibetan protesters trying to grab it and transport it to No Man's Land in Ledra Street. Demetris Syllouris has assured the Tibetans that the flame will be kept safe and out of the reach of the Beijing Olympic Committe. This assurance was made possible by the Archbishop's generous offer of flame sanctuary in No man's Land.
