Headed for Ledra Street

The Olympic Flame just about made it through London, despite Tibetan protesters trying to grab it and transport it to No Man's Land in Ledra Street. Demetris Syllouris has assured the Tibetans that the flame will be kept safe and out of the reach of the Beijing Olympic Committe. This assurance was made possible by the Archbishop's generous offer of flame sanctuary in No man's Land. "Let us not forget that it's only called No man's Land because it belongs to God who has handed over the area to the Church of Stravaraland for safekeeping" stressed Tommy 2.0
