President: It is well-known his term as Secretary-General is ending.
Question: Which means you will not be seeing him again.
President: No, on the contrary, I said “I hope to see you before that” and he replied “if the opportunity arises, why not.”

Maybe I am paranoid but look at how Tassos shakes hands with Annan... you can tell he is not confident, he is biased or holding back... you can't shake hands like that when you are the head of a state (and in fact one that is so determined to remain a state and not become a community yadadada). I think maybe TaSSos made a little stinky after overdoing it with booze quenching hamburgers and pickled eggs from room service.
